We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team on a part-time basis at our Huebner Rd. urgent care clinic in San Antonio.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients across all ages in an urgent care and/or occupational health setting
Deliver compassionate care aligned with NextCare values
Communicate a clear treatment plan to patients and ensure proper follow-up
Document care within EHR and ensure accurate coding/billing
Maintain clinical productivity consistent with peers and UC standards
Perform procedures based on skill/experience (e.g., suturing, I&D, splinting)
Work collaboratively with clinic teams and leadership
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Board certification: NCCPA, ANCC, or AANP
Must be comfortable treating all age groups
Active BLS
EHR proficiency
Ability to work occasional weekends/holidays
DOT certification (or willingness to obtain we cover the cost!)
Preferred Skills
Urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic experience
Comfort with initial x-ray reads
Suturing and common UC procedures
Master s degree for Physician Assistants
Employment Status : Part-time
