About the Role Provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups in an outpatient setting; assesses client needs, develops treatment plans, delivers therapy, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients achieve their mental health goals; and serves as a resource for community programs and supports clients in accessing external services when necessary.
Pay range and compensation package: You have the choice between a paid-per-patient model or a full-time salary model! We offer competitive salary range $70,000 - $80,000 per year with benefits such as: paid time off, health insurance, dental and vision, 401k and continuing education credits!
Responsibilities (E) Respond promptly to communication from the Practice and/or a client (E) Timely complete all required documentation of client services as required by ATG policy, as well as legal, ethical, and applicable organizational guidelines (E) Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and professional standards (E) Effectively provide services remotely using technology in accordance with ATG policy. (E) Effectively work independently in a self-directed manner and as part of a team
Clinical Assessment and Treatment: (E) Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths (E) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients (E) Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy (E) Provide psychoeducation to clients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and treatment goals (E) Provide crisis intervention when needed
Case Management: (E) Connect clients with appropriate community resources and services, including housing, financial assistance, and healthcare (E) Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed (E) Advocate for client needs within healthcare systems and the community
Collaboration: (E) Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care; participate in case conferences and team meetings
Qualifications (E) Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution (E) Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in mental health or a related field (outpatient experience preferred)
Required Skills (E) Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care (E) Strong understanding of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA compliance (E) Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills Experience working with diverse populations is preferred Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults if preferred Familiarity with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques if preferred Bilingual proficiency is preferred
Current and valid VA licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
