We are seeking an intermediate Project Manager/Architect ready to engage, learn, and contribute to our vibrant downtown Seattle studio. This person will work with our multidisciplinary team to manage primarily multi-family residential (high-rise and podium) projects, as well as potential other project types, such as senior living, transportation, and hospitality. This team member will be a strategic thinker, managing high profile, fast paced projects, adept at working with multidisciplinary clients. Project Managers at Perkins Eastman are supported with a robust PM community. We are looking for strong organizational and leadership skills who will advance design excellence in collaboration with our Pacific Northwest team. Primary Responsibilities
Ability to manage and build-upon client relationships. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Lead and present at client and consultant team meetings Ability to assist in business development including proposal preparation and interviews. Participation in Perkins Eastman's cultural initiatives and committees Autonomy to manage project teams, helping to build capacity among junior staff. Responsible for budgeting, invoicing and consultant billing in coordination with PE's accounting team Review of contract documents and contract administration in coordination with PE support teams. Required Qualifications
Willingness to continually learn and evolve, tackling new topic areas when needed. A broad array of planning knowledge, including how transportation, housing, economic, and environmental issues critically intersect. Strategic risk-taking, innovation, and creative problem-solving abilities Perceives the value of design-based storytelling, and has strong communication skills; graphic, verbal and written. Bachelor's or master's degree in built environments. Minimum of 10 years' experience with at least several years' experience with multi-family residential developer clients (for-profit or non-profit) Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project (or other scheduling software) Deltek Vision or VantagePoint, preferred. Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design. CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses. Registered Architect What We Offer You
