Outside Sales: Industrial Compressors
You must have previous experience in the sale of Industrial Compressors Job Description: Provides customer care and project management on existing accounts, prospecting for new accounts, follow-up and closing orders. Job Duties: Identify research and secure new business opportunities, utilizing prospecting skills and community/business networking to quote projects, increase revenue and improve margins. Follow the sales cycle from beginning to end including initial contact; client needs analysis, development of proposals and presentations, and obtaining purchase orders. Develop sales strategy in concert with business plans, utilizing a strategic planning process that encompasses company, market, and industry trends to ensure coordination of efforts to achieve goals. Develop and maintain relationships with engineer firms, distributors, mechanical contractors, and end users. Make 4-6 sales calls a day and 3 cold calls a week. Follow production of equipment sold to keep customers informed. Interface daily with customers and co-workers, build customer relationships. Sell parts and service to support equipment sales and service. Qualifications: You must have prior Industrial Compressor Sales Experience. Bachelor's degree preferred in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum 3 years inside and/or outside sales experience of capital equipment. Mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience and aptitude is necessary. This is a technical position and an ability to learn, understand and competently communicate compressor features and benefits is required. Sales Territory: Salem to Portland Compensation: Up to $100,000 a year depending on experience. This is a salaried position with an annual team bonus based on company performance.
