Gig Description GENERAL JOB STATEMENT:
Responsible for video support of assigned show including, but not limited to, programming of the video components for a show, minimal content creation for video/projections designers, system layout consultation and troubleshooting. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Program in timeline or cue-based software alongside the video/projections designer. Ensure timely completion of the programming of the show to ensure plenty of time for edits and changes. Assist in any consultation regarding system layout and on-site troubleshooting of that system. Minimal creation of content as assigned by the video/projections designer or the production manager. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Maintenance of deadlines. Any additional tasks as requested by the PM. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Theatre or related field / equivalent experience is preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical theatre is preferred. Familiarity with Windows and Mac-based operating systems. Familiarity with Dropbox. Ability to work with basic image and video creation software. Watchout and QLab proficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills.
