What You Will Be Doing

Supervisor of warehouse personnel on one shift to ensure that all functions are performed within the Company’s Distribution Center guidelines as outlined in the Distribution Center Operations Manual. Functions include shipping, receiving, loading, putaway, and accuracy checking.

Main Responsibilities

• Control production standards and accuracy of shipments.


• Maintain daily production and accuracy records.


• Ensure the most economical and efficient use of equipment and personnel to accomplish assigned work.


• Train and motivate employees in process improvements and standard work.


• Conduct performance and safety observations.


• Build and maintain good working relationships with Company personnel, Transportation and Procurement departments.


• Assign associates to jobs and coach towards performance.


• Ensure adherence to policies by all employees.


• Maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Education Level: GED or High School Diploma.


• Experience Level: 2+ years of warehouse operations experience with increasing responsibility.


• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.


• Strong general knowledge of warehousing and logistics.


• Prior experience as a lead worker or supervisor is preferred.
