License: ARRT registered in MRI Certifications: CPR required Must-Have: N/A Description: The shift is flexible. There are several openings and most days/shifts can be considered. The technologist performs a variety of MRI and MRA procedures. They are responsible for patient safety protocols. The technologist assists the Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They operate the MRI scanner and all RF coils. They work with MRI workstations, laser cameras, film processors, and patient monitoring equipment. They also use MR injectors. The MRI Technologist assists patients in understanding procedures. They screen for biomedical and metallic implants. They ask pertinent questions regarding medical history. They change patients into dressing gowns. They perform proper procedures and protocols for various studies. The MRI Technologist treats all patients professionally. They function as the first-line interface with patients. They ensure successful accomplishments of imaging needs. On-call, holiday, and some weekend rotations are required.
