Job Title Process Engineer

Location Sunnyvale, CA

Job Description The Process Engineer will drive the deployment of optimal disassembly and material handling practices using LEAN methodologies.

Scope The scope includes but is not limited to:

Specifying the type of test to be performed, compiling data, and making recommendations for product design changes and final assembly standards. This will include the use of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis using Six Sigma principles.

Ensuring alignment between operational processes and environmental, safety and quality standards.

Identifying critical risks to deployment of standardized processes, and recommending, developing, and implementing solutions to mitigate such risks.

Failure/Data Analysis: Plans, develops, and implements technically complex procedures for the testing and evaluation of soon to be released products.

Sets standard practices and independently settles impact to design approaches and parameters to the final product implementation.

Deep experience deploying lean (along with the requisite change and program management) in an evolving industrial setting.

Successful development and implementation of new technologies that improve production quality, capacity and efficiency.

Collaboration skills, including the ability to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders to brainstorm, pilot and enact operational processes.

Project management skills, including the ability to meet tight project deadlines.

Analytical skills, including the ability to collect and leverage data to drive decision making.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's degree a plus).

4+ years providing continuous improvement solutions via Lean and/or Six Sigma in an assembly/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's degree a plus).

4+ years providing continuous improvement solutions via Lean and/or Six Sigma in an assembly/manufacturing environment.
