Green City Tree Planting & Park Revitalization Volunteer
HOSD.org/211sandiego., San Diego, California, United States, 92189
Join District 9 and the City’s Urban Forestry Team to help Grow a Green San Diego! Volunteers will play a key role by planting trees, adding soil, and spreading mulch to ensure each tree gets the best start possible. These new trees will provide shade, beauty, and cleaner air for generations to come. It’s a fun, hands‑on way to connect with neighbors and make a lasting difference in our city’s green spaces.
Volunteers will also participate in park painting, assisting with revitalizing the park with a fresh coat of paint to invite the community to come out and play.
Funding for this project is provided by the USDA Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program. USDA, City of San Diego, and all of its partners are equal opportunity providers and employers.
