Responsibilities
Perform highly advanced analysis and testing tasks related to software development.
Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues.
Work with business users and SMEs to create and update test cases and execute testing.
Act as the main point of contact between IT, business users, and the development team.
Leading triages, tracking, prioritizing, and managing defects.
Create metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
Providing and reviewing updates on UAT progress and results.
Provide project status updates, progress on defects, and check progress on requirement traceability and coverage.
Ensure exit criteria are met and obtaining final sign-off from the business.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
8+ years testing experience.
Must have experience as a QALead managing test team and coordinating all testing and related activities.
Must have experience with Salesforce and testing within Salesforce environment.
Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
Experience in managing testing process with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience.
Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
Experience working on different types of testing: eg unit, integration, regression, smoke , user acceptance, system, stress and load/performance.
Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or question about programs.
Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
Experience in overseeing the tracking or reporting of testing data and defect management.
Experience in coordinating testing activities and data collection with internal and external customers.
Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify potential issues, define testing scope, and ensure smooth implementation.
Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on E HR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing and workflows.
Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT staff, and project managers.
Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios user roles within the EHR system.
Experience working in state agency preferred.
Able to effectively report and communicate clearly to leadership team.
PMP is not required, but must have demonstrated experience in aspects of project management.
