As a **C******onsultant**, Environmental Health and Safety** in the **San Francisco Bay Area**, you’ll be on the front lines—helping clients navigate regulatory landscapes, mitigate risks, and implement best-in-class safety programs. Your work will directly influence how organizations operate safely and sustainably.**What Your Impact Is*** Serve as a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients, providing onsite support and strategic guidance.* Conduct safety risk assessments, inspections, and observations to ensure compliance and protect personnel.* Develop and implement innovative EHS programs in areas such as Hazard Communication, Injury Illness Prevention, Chemical Management, and Process Safety.* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.* Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.**What You'll Bring****Required:*** Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related science (or equivalent experience).* 2+ years of EHS experience with private-sector clients.* Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).* Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and client-focused.* Willingness to travel to and be at client site(s) for up to 40 hours/week primarily within the Northern California Bay Area, California.* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.* This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.**Preferred:*** Master’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field.* Expertise in California-specific EHS regulations and best practices.**Key Responsibilities*** Perform building hazardous materials inspections, oversight, and sampling.* Support construction safety, industrial hygiene, and behavior-based safety initiatives.* Conduct assessments in areas such as chemical/lab safety, electrical safety (NFPA 70E), fire prevention, robotics safety, and more.* Collect and analyze field data; prepare technical reports and recommendations.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs and strategies.* Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance across all deliverables.## For the **C****onsultant, Environmental Health and Safety** position, the anticipated annual base pay is **$76,000** **– $97,410 USD**. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
