Day Shift
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities across a range of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role is critical to ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting operational goals through smart sourcing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services from qualified vendors.
Evaluate supplier quotes, capabilities, and service levels to identify the most reliable and cost-effective partners.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual terms.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Monitor market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Manage complex purchasing projects with minimal supervision, applying sound judgment and strategic thinking.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
