Primary Duties
Provides financial leadership as a strategic partner and advisor to the VP for Finance & Operations, and in support of the President of the College, and the Finance Committee, the Investment Committee, and the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board of Trustees.
Responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, and retaining staff, maintaining high standards for compliance and customer service.
Responsible for the college’s financial reporting – interim and year end, in accordance with GAAP, and for reviewing staff during the close process.
Responsible for banking and treasury operations: cash, debt, balance‑sheet management, transaction execution, debt issuance, and investment accounts.
Oversees Endowment and Donor Fund Accounting through Fundriver and endowment calculations in coordination with Advancement Office, Budget Office, and receiving departments.
Manages the accounting and internal control environment, developing policies, and overseeing audits (financial statements, federal single audit, 403(b)).
Represents the college with external financial partners: outsourced Chief Investments Officer, insurance, banking, auditors.
Leads efforts to build and maintain business systems and processes, and to optimize the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field; 5–8 years’ work experience.
Preferred:
Master’s degree; 8–10 years’ work experience; Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred; Higher‑Ed experience.
