Job Summary/Purpose
The Sr. Manager, Real Estate will provide strategic leadership and expert oversight of real estate strategy and transaction management. This role will serve as a key business partner and trusted advisor to all functions and business units across Entergy, with direct accountability for an annual lease portfolio of $25–$30M and multiple commercial and industrial real estate transactions each year.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Portfolio Management : Provide end-to-end transaction management for Entergy’s extensive real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, donations, and financing arrangements.
Strategic Planning : Partner with business units and senior leaders to develop business cases and execute real estate strategies that maximize portfolio performance and value.
Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed real estate team and oversee broker resources.
Partnership : Engage effectively with Executives and SVP/VP level leaders to inform portfolio decisions and transaction execution.
Fiscal Management : Manage the annual $25–$30M non-capital rent and operating budget and support financial reporting related to regulatory filings.
Program Management : Develop and oversee value-enhancing programs that drive “highest and best use” outcomes and unlock revenue or savings from underutilized sites.
Due Diligence : Work collaboratively with multiple functional teams to lead due diligence activities, including environmental assessments, valuations, and regulatory filings.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, or a related discipline. MBA or master’s degree in real estate or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Experience
10+ years of recent, relevant commercial real estate experience.
7+ years of Corporate Real Estate and supervisory experience are required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional collaboration, relationship management, accountability, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Experience with continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a service delivery mindset.
