JOB DESCRIPTION: Public Works Senior Project Engineer (Civil)
SCHEDULE – Full-Time Exempt (if licensed)
PRIMARY LOCATION – Foothill Ranch, California

Summary Q 3 is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our fast-growing Public Works practice. The candidate should demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering infrastructure. We offer a competitive salary with benefits.
Major Duties Major duties for this job posting include the following:
Preparation of improvement plans, specifications, and estimates for public works projects
Work with project manager, assisting on various utility, roadway, grading, and coordination assignments
Ability to work independently in a team environment and manage multiple assignments with limited supervision
Ability to train staff and review work for quality assurance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four‑year college or university
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated relevant experience
Proficient in CAD and Civil3D
Excellent writing and verbal English language skills; able to communicate engineering information clearly to others and in report writings
A California P.E. is preferred; EIT is strongly recommended
