Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP Commerce Architect to lead and deliver complex SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) implementations and migration initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting capabilities, working directly with enterprise clients to modernize their e-commerce platforms and drive business transformation.
Define end-to-end SAP Commerce Cloud architecture aligned with client business objectives and technical requirements
Lead solution design for migrations from on-premise SAP Hybris to SAP Commerce Cloud v2 (CCv2), including multi-instance consolidation strategies
Establish integration patterns with enterprise systems including SAP S/4HANA, ERP, OMS, PIM, and third-party applications
*Technical Leadership*
Provide hands-on technical guidance across development teams throughout project lifecycles
Conduct architecture reviews, code assessments, and performance optimization initiatives
Define and enforce development standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
Lead technical risk identification and mitigation planning for complex implementations
Architect migration strategies from legacy Hybris versions to CCv2, including data migration, customization refactoring, and extension modernization
Plan and execute platform upgrades ensuring minimal business disruption
Evaluate and redesign custom extensions for CCv2 compatibility and cloud optimization
Define build, deployment, and environment management strategies within the CCv2 ecosystem
*Client Consulting & Engagement*
Serve as trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions
Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, and roadmap development sessions
Present architectural recommendations to executive and technical audiences
Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and effort estimations
*Delivery Excellence*
Collaborate with project managers to define timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements
Ensure delivery quality through adherence to architectural standards and best practices
Mentor and develop junior architects and technical team members

Required technical and professional expertise
8+ years of experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform
3+ years in a Solution/Technical Architect capacity
Demonstrated experience leading SAP Commerce Cloud v2 (CCv2) migrations and implementations
Proven consulting experience with enterprise clients across multiple industries
Track record of successful on-premise to cloud migration delivery
*Technical Expertise*
Deep knowledge of SAP Commerce architecture including ServiceLayer, persistence, impex, and data modeling
Proficiency with CCv2 build and deployment processes, manifest configuration, and environment management
Strong understanding of SAP Commerce modules: B2B, B2C, Order Management, PCM, and Promotions
Experience with integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, SAP Integration Suite, middleware platforms
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

Excellent client-facing communication and presentation abilities
Experience conducting technical workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions
Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and build trusted relationships
Strong documentation and proposal writing skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Willingness to travel to client sites as project needs require
