Locum Interventional Radiology Clinic + Call Springfield, MA Why This Role
- 3-6 month assignment with strong potential to extend
- Mix of on-site interventional work and optional remote reads
- Well-supported radiology team with full complement of staff Assignment Details
- Start: February 2026
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Setting: Hospital-based with some remote work (2-3 days/week, TBD)
- Reason for need: Two departing providers
- Team structure: 8 radiologists currently; 6 after departures
- EMR: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
- Patient population: Adolescents through geriatrics
- Credentialing: 90-120 days
- Daily volume: Variable; ED sees 120 patients/day
- Other: One on-site day required weekly for diagnostic breast imaging Clinical Details
- Imaging Procedures - Mammography - MRI - brain, spine, basic neuro, MSK - CT - PET/CT - Nuclear medicine - Ultrasound - Pediatric studies - Interventional Procedures - Interventional breast - Thyroid FNARequirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Active MA license
- BLS & ACLS
- Ability to perform required IR and diagnostic procedures Compensation
