Director of Business Development / Behavioral Health & IDD
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate to join PharMerica’s Behavioral Health and Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Division. The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience, deep knowledge of behavioral health and IDD care, and the ability to communicate with executive‑level stakeholders. This is a remote position within the AZ, NV, & Southern CA territories; you must reside in the territory.

Location & Schedule Location: Remote (must reside in AZ, NV, or Southern CA) Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm (weekends as needed). 60‑70 % travel.
Responsibilities
Work with the RVP of Sales to evaluate and qualify new business opportunities for profitability and strategic impact.
Identify business opportunities through sales calls, referrals, targeting reports, and CRM; communicate with IDD agencies and behavioral health organizations to assess market needs.
Finalize contracting, coordinate startup of new accounts, and transition account services to pharmacy operations upon service commitment.
Use marketing segmentation to develop strategic territory plans and execute those plans to meet KPI and budget.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through ongoing support and value‑added services.
Customize IDD and BH presentations and proposals to meet customer needs.
Achieve quarterly and annual bed and revenue goals.
Collaborate with pharmacy team members to uncover leads and resolve customer service concerns.
Complete sales, reporting, and contracting for new business and other administrative procedures as directed.
Complete sales training components and implement sales processes, such as pre‑call planning, in daily practice.
Participate in local, state, and national industry trade shows as required.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience selling healthcare services to IDD agencies and behavioral health facilities.
Three or more years of prior sales experience in healthcare, medical equipment, consumer products, or solutions sales.
Experience selling and negotiating contracts for products and services.
Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HubSpot/CRM.
Valid driver’s license; willing to travel 75 %.
Results‑oriented, adaptable, product knowledge, organized, and strong oral communication skills.
