As a Director you will lead a team responsible for a critical element of the host lifecycle within Oracle's cloud business (OCI). Delivering GPU compute capacity quickly and at high quality to our customers is critical to our success. Your team will be responsible for developing the software infrastructure to ensure new compute products are built and tested to meet the highest standards. This will require leading a team that works at low levels of firmware deployment up to large scale distributed systems. You will work across many different manufacturing partners and be hands on with the newest cutting edge GPU technology. You will be responsible for hiring and developing a new team, developing the culture and building strong operational mechanisms to ensure delivery of GPU capacity. The challenge in the spaces comes from navigating many variables including the constantly evolving GPU landscape, the complexities of dealing with new hardware and software and orchestrating delivery across multiple partners.

Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team; set goals, coach, and drive accountability
Define KPIs for the organization and lead the team through strong operational rigor
Ability to partner effectively with multiple external organizations to drive results
Effectively represent the organization to senior leadership
Be willing to travel ~25% of the time
Knowledge of current enterprise GPU technology is helpful, but not required

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 - $291,800 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
