Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and/or diagnostics to serve as a scientific bridge between Cardio Diagnostics and key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. This individual will engage with healthcare providers, payers, employers and other stakeholders to communicate the scientific and clinical value of our solutions. They will be responsible for educating, engaging, and supporting these stakeholders in understanding and appropriately utilizing our solutions. This will include delivering high-quality scientific and economic evidence, support onboarding of new ordering providers, contribute expert insights to internal teams, and ensure optimal use of our solutions throughout the entire provider and patient journey. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing precision cardiovascular medicine and has prior experience translating complex scientific data into meaningful clinical and economic discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, payers, and employer stakeholders.

Deliver high-impact scientific, clinical and economics education by developing materials from real-world data and analysis to highlight the value and appropriate utilization of Cardio Diagnostics’ solutions.

Respond to medical/scientific and other inquiries in a compliant manner.

Support ordering providers throughout the full diagnostic workflow, including appropriate patient selection, post-test interpretation, patient management pathways, and health economics considerations.

Communicate scientific and clinical information with clarity to both expert and non-expert audiences.

Develop and communicate health economics value to both expert and non-expert audiences.

Facilitate onboarding of new ordering providers, ensuring they are fully supported in the adoption and implementation of clinical workflows.

Provide post-testing education, guidance, and resources to optimize patient care.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless provider and patient experience.

Partner with sales teams to deliver medically appropriate resources and education to key accounts.

Support internal functions including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Product, and Clinical Operations by offering scientific expertise for messaging, training, content review, and field insights.

Contribute to the development of white papers, case studies, advisory boards, speaker programs, and clinical training materials.

Capture, document, and communicate actionable insights from providers, payers, and employers to shape medical strategy, product enhancements, and evidence-generation priorities.

Conduct literature searches and maintain up-to-date expertise in cardiovascular diagnostics, epigenetics, precision medicine, and clinical guideline evolution.

Represent Cardio Diagnostics at local, regional, and national scientific conferences, employer forums, payer engagements, and specialty society meetings.

Provide scientific training to internal teams, including updates on clinical evidence, health economics, guidelines, and competitive intelligence.

Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with corporate, legal, and healthcare compliance guidelines.

Travel as needed for onboarding, educational sessions, and relationship management.

Other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific degree (PhD, NP, RN, PA or equivalent degree) in a relevant life science discipline (e.g., molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, cardiovascular sciences).

2–3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison in cardiovascular disease and/or molecular diagnostics.

Prior experience as an MSL in the introduction of novel clinical products to the market (preferred).

Experience and Skills

Experience engaging with providers, payers, and employers, including health economic and clinical value discussions.

Strong presentation, communication, and scientific storytelling skills.

Ability to translate complex diagnostic and molecular science into meaningful clinical application.

Hands‑on experience or research background in areas such as epigenetics, genomics, or molecular diagnostics.

Ability to elicit and answer clinical questions in groups ranging from individuals to roundtables and meetings.

Ability to address authorities in the scientific and clinical fields in virtual and in‑person settings.

Familiarity with cardiovascular clinical guidelines, disease pathways, and payer utilization frameworks (preferred).

Requirements

Work in a team‑based office environment.

A valid driver’s license with the ability to operate an automobile.

The ability to travel including over weekends, if needed.

Pay Range $90,000-$110,000. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
