The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Staff Gastroenterologist.
The staff physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct outpatient care to GI and Hepatology patients at UHealth Doral and/or Solé Miá in North Miami. They will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services to those patients who require Gastroenterology/Hepatology services, and Gastroenterology screening procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Rotate on night and weekend on call on medical campus at UHT and JMH proportionate to other physicians
Rotate on inpatient at UHT or JMH proportionate to other providers
Desired Qualifications
MD/DO required
ACGME US Internal Medicine internship and residency and GI fellowship
Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligible)
Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology (or board eligible)
Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
Valid DEA licensure
