Academic Position - Cardiothoracic Surgery – Minimally Invasive Robotic Cardiac Surgeon
Join the Indiana University Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery as a full‑time faculty Cardiovascular Surgeon with specialized training in minimally invasive robotic cardiac surgery. Job Duties
Provide patient care in cardiovascular surgery, including coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement, and robotic valve operations.
Support a collaborative academic practice within the Cardiovascular Institute.
Participate in scholarly activity, resident education, and system‑wide quality initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
MD/DO board‑certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Completion of a general surgery residency and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship OR integrated residency, with additional training in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery.
Minimum of 3 years of post‑fellowship surgical experience.
Licensed or eligible to practice medicine in Indiana.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
Commitment to innovation and investigation in cardiothoracic surgery.
