A community-based, not-for-profit acute-care critical-access hospital that serves the Northeast Kingdom region in Vermont is adding a Neurologist. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including primary and preventive care, inpatient and outpatient treatments, surgical and specialty services, and a physician-staffed emergency department operating 24 hours a day. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced neurologists and new graduates to establish a rewarding practice in the beautiful rural setting ofVermont.
About the Opportunity:
Join a small, close-knit community hospital as a neurologist in a high-demand area No call required Patient Volume averages14-16 patients per day Patient Population:Seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, tremors, stroke, headaches, back pain, arm pain, and general neurology conditions Procedures include:EEG interpretation, IVIG administration, biopsies, nerve conduction studies, and EMG EMG experience required Must be comfortable with EEG interpretation and nerve conduction studies Meditech EMR Recognized NCQA patient-centered medical home Excellent salary plus loan repayment, employer-matching 401k, relocation assistance, generous time off, and low-cost health/dental/vision plan choices Community/Location:
