RN Nurse Manager of our NICU and Mother Baby units at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This is a full‑time leadership position. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of best practice for quality delivery of care and patient safety in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Mother Baby units. They will possess the ability to staff, lead, and communicate appropriately with physicians, other department managers, and staff. Under general direction, and in accordance with the State of California Nurse Practice Act, and the goals, objectives and strategic plan of the organization, this role is responsible for providing leadership, planning, organizing, and supervising personnel; managing, reporting on, and providing resources for NICU and Mother Baby units; and performing related work as required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, from an accredited college or university. California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 4 years of Supervisory experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital. Experience in NICU, Post Partum, and Newborn Nursery.
