Account Director – Digital Marketing – Adobe
Adobe is seeking an Account Director to drive sales of Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines within the manufacturing industry. The role focuses on building strategic, long‑term relationships with enterprise customers, creating executive connections, and closing high‑value opportunities that expand Adobe’s ecosystem value. What you’ll do
Strategically set a multi‑year vision and multi‑year sales strategy grounded in value.
Leverage problem‑solving skills to tackle sophisticated challenges that enable Adobe to better serve customers.
Communicate with customers effectively to uncover viable solutions from their perspective.
Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO).
Identify and gain alignment from customers on compelling business issues to be addressed.
Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, and macro‑economic understanding while acting as a trusted advisor.
Articulate Adobe’s story and unique value proposition, aligning solution benefits with customers’ vision and ROI.
Lead collaboration across Adobe’s ecosystem and partners to drive outcomes and use the ecosystem to its fullest potential.
Collaborate to drive consensus and action, owning the territory strategy and ecosystem support.
Manage large, sophisticated sales processes internally involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, product support, and engineering.
Lead collaboration with external third parties such as tech partners and system integrators.
Meet sales quotas and run efficient business.
Advance and close sales opportunities through successful execution of sales strategy and roadmap.
Build strong account plans at the beginning of the year and lead regular account planning meetings to keep the team aligned.
Maintain a rolling 4‑quarter pipeline, quickly qualifying opportunities and collaborating with support organizations to funnel pipeline into accounts.
Ideal candidate will have
Minimum 5‑7+ years selling solutions to marketing, IT, and brand or lines of business in large enterprise organizations.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, partnering with Adobe teams including Sales, Support, Engineering, Product & Marketing.
Strong understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS within the manufacturing space.
Validated Sales Excellence and creative, problem‑solving approach.
Compensation
The U.S. pay range for this position is $229,000 – $369,600 annually. Pay varies by work location and may depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Adobe offers total target compensation (base + commission) for sales roles and base salary with a short‑term incentive plan for non‑sales roles.
