Purpose of Position The Pilot is responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience with an outstanding safety record. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing technically accurate and safe transportation while delivering exceptional service to every NetJets owner and passenger.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take‑off and landing of each flight per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
Greet owners/passengers pre‑flight, make introductions, and brief them on itinerary, weather updates, and any changes. Provide safety briefings.
Deliver in‑flight service as needed, including handling of alcohol and catering.
Load and properly stow all baggage.
Handle flights for owners with pets and those who smoke.
Act as the final authority on aircraft operation, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
Serve as liaison for owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until final departure.
Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete required paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned depending on the assignment.
Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written, First Class Medical Certificate.
Years of Experience Not specified.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
At least 21 years of age.
1,500 hours total flight time or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R‑ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R‑ATP certificate.
200 hours cross‑country (>50 nm) flight time.
250 hours fixed‑wing PIC.
100 hours night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
75 hours instrument time (actual or simulated, excludes simulator time).
ATP written completed prior to start of indoctrination training.
50 hours fixed‑wing, multi‑engine time.
Current FAA First‑Class Medical certificate.
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
Must be able to work varying hours, including day, night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Must be flexible, manage rest periods, and adapt to rapid changes.
Duty may last up to 14 hours per day for up to 8 days, across time zones and extreme weather; may be away from home for 7+ days and nights.
Secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges; pass TSA background screening.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Fluent English, excellent oral and written communication, strong decision‑making under pressure.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Work around animals, including handling and care pre, during, and post flight.
Conduct flights for owners who smoke.
Base Salary Range $86,015 – $117,706
