The Role AMD is seeking a Sr. Program Management Analyst to drive the delivery of industry‑leading software solutions across AMD products and their target markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of innovators and shape the future of technology. You will interact with many engineers, architects and executives to build comprehensive plans to ensure successful delivery of major innovations in future software and hardware designs. AMD’s Data Center Platform Engineering Group (DPEG) is designing, building and delivering innovative technology infrastructure enabling the digital world. We create cloud‑enabling server solutions that help the world’s leading companies turn their ideas into reality.
The Person This dynamic role will require a balance of technical aptitude and organizational skills. You will be the main interface driving strategic technology across multiple engineering teams. The position requires a highly collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills and the ability to present and engage with stakeholders and leaders at multiple levels.
Key Responsibilities Material Planning & Readiness
Lead weekly material readiness reviews integrating engineering release schedules, procurement status and build plans to maintain >95% readiness for all hardware builds.
Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) based on demand forecasts, BOM changes and supplier lead times.
Monitor inventory health across ERP systems and implement mitigation plans for shortages, excess and aging stock.
Ensure material and BOM accuracy through proactive data validation and cross‑system reconciliation (ERP, PLM and engineering trackers).
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
Partner closely with sourcing and procurement to secure timely delivery of critical components.
Track supplier on‑time delivery, lead times and pricing trends to anticipate risks and enable corrective actions.
Support procurement escalations and work with suppliers to resolve material constraints during prototype and ramp‑up phases.
Maintain visibility to material cost drivers and supplier performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Budget & Cost Management
Track and report material spending versus approved budgets (NRE, build phase and operational).
Perform variance and usage analysis to identify cost reduction or re‑use opportunities.
Collaborate with finance and operations on forecasting and reporting to maintain alignment with quarterly goals.
Data Analytics & Reporting
Develop dashboards (Excel, Power BI or SQL‑based) to consolidate material, procurement and inventory metrics into actionable insights.
Report readiness KPIs, spend variance and supplier performance to management and program stakeholders.
Use analytics to drive recommendations for optimizing supply chain efficiency and lead‑time reduction.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean principles, PFMEA and root‑cause analysis frameworks.
Standardize safety stock models, planning parameters and readiness templates across programs.
Support audit readiness, documentation governance and adherence to company inventory policies.

Strong understanding of Lean, PFMEA and continuous improvement principles.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
Academic Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business or a related field.
