Job Description The General Manager’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience while leading and maintaining day‑to‑day operations of the store in compliance with established policies. They plan and implement daily operations to meet KPIs and insurance metrics, coach and empower team performance, promote highest quality standards, and lead by example.
Key Job Responsibilities
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget.
Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R for the collision center.
Maintain a clean and organized repair facility.
Monitor maintenance for all shop equipment, including paint booth.
Provide training for all staff as necessary.
Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
Open and close the facility daily per procedures.
Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix within established standards. Manage store capacity.
Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings. Attend monthly managers meetings.
Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.
Store CSI performance review and follow up within 24 hours.
Education and/or Experience Required
Post‑secondary education or equivalent.
Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
Required Skills/Abilities
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience.
Clear communication both verbally and in writing.
Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.
