Director of Operations - Water Division
sector to lead and grow our water utilities while overseeing project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex engineering work involving planning, design, and construction of water projects for municipal, industrial, and private clients.
Develop a long‑term growth plan and conduct market analysis to identify opportunities.
Implement best practices, new technologies, and effective asset management to optimize operations.
Ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainable water management practices.
Improve customer service and address concerns.
Develop risk management strategies and update emergency response plans.
Explore geographic expansion and diversify service offerings.
Enhance service quality, ensure sustainability, and drive company growth.
Evaluate research methods and exercise judgment in setting priorities and resolving complex issues.
Develop a comprehensive P&L strategy for operations by gathering and analyzing historical financial and operational data, optimizing revenue through pricing strategies, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
5+ years of experience in the water industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of water engineering principles, design, and construction.
Leadership expertise in supervising, scheduling, training, and evaluating staff.
The ability to organize, plan, coordinate, manage, and direct project functions.
Proficiency in daily work routine coordination.
Strong technical background in engineering, design, and construction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet client expectations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building cooperative relationships with colleagues and external partners.
