Division Chief, Cardiothoracic Anesthesia
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Division Chief to lead our Cardiothoracic Anesthesia program in Omaha, NE.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Serve as a role model by espousing exemplary integrity and professionalism.
Design integrated care protocols for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases.
Assist in resident and medical student rotation development and teaching.
Collaborate with service line leadership in research, clinical protocols, and operational efficiencies to improve clinical outcomes.
Promote excellence and innovation in patient care in accordance with the most recent scientific evidence and medical technology.
Job Requirements
Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology, the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography, and completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship.
Ability to obtain a Nebraska license.
Proven administrative leadership ability and experience.
Exceptional communication skills.

We seek a Division Chief who has a demonstrated commitment to steady innovative clinical practice growth, education and science, leadership of a diverse group, collaboration with hospital partners, promotion of education, and mentorship of young clinicians. Successful candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership, administrative and organizational skills and have an MD or equivalent degree.
