The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will transform raw customer data into actionable insights, fuel our AI platform, and support our clients’ analytical needs.
What You’ll Do
Customer Requirements Gathering : Drive dialogue with customers to understand their requirements, provide updates, and respond to questions.
Data Transformation & Ingestion : Manipulate and transform diverse customer datasets into our standardized common data model, ensuring data quality and readiness for ingestion into our proprietary AI platform.
Analytic Dataset Creation : Design, develop, and maintain robust analytic datasets from various sources to support interactive dashboards and advanced analytics.
Dashboard Development : Lead the design, development, and implementation of impactful dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
Analytics & Reporting : Conduct in‑depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and generate comprehensive reports for Medical Affairs teams.
Data Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain data quality checks and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data.
Collaboration : Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high‑value data solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related quantitative field.
5+ years of experience in data analysis with focus on mapping, transformation, and schema management.
At least 3 years with Life Sciences and Healthcare data.
Experience reviewing and understanding complex datasets from multiple sources.
Strong SQL proficiency for querying, manipulation, and profiling.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language for data analysis and automation (e.g., Python).
Solid understanding of data structures, formats (JSON, CSV, XML), and database schemas.
Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical data mapping specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in relevant field.
Experience with customer data platforms or CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Understanding of data preparation for AI/ML models.
Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with statistical analysis.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of data governance principles.
Experience in startup and Agile environments.
Compensation & Benefits Sorcero offers a remote, globally distributed team with a base salary range of $110,000–$150,000 depending on experience and location, plus:
Three weeks PTO + 1 week December holiday recess
One week Safe & Sick leave
10 company holidays + 2 floating holidays
