We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a 60‑day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana, starting Jan 5, 2026. This position features a week on/week off schedule, 24‑hour call from home, providing coverage across inpatient pediatric care, ED consults, and newborn couplet care with NNP support.

Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist

Schedule: Week on/week off, 24‑hour on‑call from home, FT (20 shifts/month), PT (10 shifts/month)

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide care for a inpatient pediatric floor

Conduct emergency department consults for pediatric patients

Deliver newborn couplet care in collaboration with neonatal nurse practitioners

No responsibility for nursery call or rounds; NICU coverage handled separately

Additional Information

Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required (board eligible not accepted)

Valid Louisiana license or active IMLC required

Must have at least 6 months of recent clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine

Clinical activity within the past year required

Completion of prescreen questionnaire and CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained is mandatory
