Job Overview
The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks an open‑rank Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist. Rank and tenure status are commensurate with training and experience.
The successful candidate will care for patients with neurological disorders in an outpatient setting, with faculty duties in a collaborative academic environment.
Responsibilities
Clinical care of neurological patients in the outpatient setting.
Participate in academic medicine activities, including teaching and mentorship.
Engage in research and scholarly activities in collaboration with other research‑oriented schools and centers at UVA.
Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent terminal degree.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology.
Specialized fellowship training in a related field preferred.
Strong interest in a career in academic medicine and evidence of academic productivity.
