Pediatric Cardiologists at Johns Hopkins provide the most advanced cardiology care for children with general or complex cardiac conditions. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates with a strong history of academic medical leadership, clinical expertise and scholarship. We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.

This cardiologist will work primarily at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center main campus. Clinical activities will include cardiac catheterization lab, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Occasional travel to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities may be required. Cardiac catheterization and inpatient care are provided at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, MD. Clinical activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac catheterization lab

On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology and cardiac catheterization lab

Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows

Academic efforts including original research and QI

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree (or equivalent), be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology, and hold or be eligible for a Maryland physician license.

Candidates must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital interventional catheterization is required.

Salary: $260,000 to $500,200

Job Type: Full Time

The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
