Lead Fullstack Software Engineer – Collaboration & Negotiation This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Director of Engineering. The engineer will focus on UI design and software development, collaborate with other teams, and mentor colleagues.

What you’ll do

Lead design, implementation, testing, and release of product features.

Write high‑quality, maintainable, testable code in React, TypeScript and occasionally on the backend (C#, .Net).

Represent a high level of craftsmanship on shipped product features.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to develop new features.

Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum practices, code reviews, automated unit testing, end‑to‑end testing, continuous integration and deployment.

Design scalable, fault‑tolerant solutions using telemetry and metrics.

Investigate, resolve and maintain code for production issues as needed.

Ensure code quality, readability and maintainability.

Basic Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

12+ years of software engineering experience.

8+ years of UI development experience.

2+ years of backend development experience.

Experience with advanced web applications.

Experience using Git or other version control systems.

Fluency in English, verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

Proactive, self‑starter with strong ownership.

Experience in a SaaS environment, knowledge of cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Azure, and large‑scale microservice architectures.

Proficiency in the entire software‑development lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines and testing.

Experience with JavaScript; React.js is an added advantage.

Expertise in debugging high‑priority production issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Eagerness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.

Wage Transparency Base salary ranges by location:

San Francisco, CA: $200,000.00 – $240,000.00

San Mateo, CA: $193,300.00 – $289,900.00

Other locations: ranges vary accordingly.

Bonus and stock: Eligible for company bonus plan and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
