We’re looking for a VDC Manager who’s ready to take the next step in their career, help drive innovation through construction technology, has deep knowledge of VDC and BIM best practices, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality models that help teams build smarter and faster. You are someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and thrives on collaboration with project teams, partners, and clients. What will you do as VDC Manager?
As a VDC Manager at Skender, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes across multiple projects. You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior VDC Manager, project teams, and trade partners to ensure BIM execution plans are implemented effectively and that models support field coordination, scheduling, and quality construction. You’ll also contribute to advancing Skender’s company‑wide VDC initiatives by sharing lessons learned, promoting best practices, and helping integrate technology throughout the project lifecycle. Your main responsibilities
Supporting the development and implementation of project‑specific BIM Execution Plans Creating and maintaining detailed project models using Revit and other modeling software Leading model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews with project teams and trade partners Supporting reality capture and field layout workflows, including drones, 360 cameras, and point cloud scans Collaborating with the Senior VDC Manager to refine and maintain VDC standards, templates, and best practices Working with Construction Technology to align VDC workflows with field technology and project management tools Providing project team support and training on VDC processes and tools Participating in internal and external presentations, meetings, and client coordination efforts Educational background & prior experience
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management plus at least 5 years’ relevant experience. Required skills
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, FARO, Navisworks, and Procore BIM tools Proficiency with model‑based coordination, scheduling integration, and constructability analysis Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across departments and project partners Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement in workflows and technology Benefits package
