Masis Staffing solutions is assisting our corporate client in searching for an experienced
Claims Manager
for a
temporary assignment
based at a Store Support Campus in
Westborough, MA . This role will report to the
Senior Claims Manager
and focus on overseeing day-to-day
property & casualty claims operations , ensuring compliance, quality, and timely resolution.
This position is ideal for a senior claims professional with deep experience managing complex claims and working with third‑party administrators (TPAs).
Salary: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Note: Schedule includes 1 day remote each week.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee property & casualty claims handling, including
general liability, workers’ compensation, auto liability, and excess claims
Provide oversight and direction to
third‑party administrators (TPAs)
on investigations, settlements, and litigation
Conduct
claim file reviews
to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to company standards
Evaluate
case reserves , identify claims for settlement, and prepare draft settlement recommendations
Collaborate with
HR and Benefits
on return‑to‑work cases
Partner with
Legal, Safety, and other internal teams
on claim‑related matters
Assist with
claims data analysis , reporting trends, and loss‑control recommendations
Support the development and refinement of
claims management procedures
Perform additional special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration
8–12 years
of U.S. casualty claims management experience
Experience with
large retention or self‑insured programs
Strong familiarity with
workers’ compensation statutes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Professional designations such as
AIC, CCP, or CPCU
Work Schedule
On‑site role with potential
1 day per week remote
(with manager approval)
