Executive Director – BioLink
We are seeking an Executive Director to lead BioLink, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building a global community of Lebanese professionals in the life sciences sector. The role is full‑time, located in the Northeast region (preferably New York), and reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Position Overview As Executive Director, you will guide the organization through a critical growth phase, clarifying priorities, strengthening internal infrastructure, deepening member engagement, and establishing sustainable pathways for expansion. You will ensure operational coherence, professionalized systems, and strong relationship management across the global network.
Key Responsibilities
Drive BioLink's strategic direction and financial sustainability by articulating a compelling mission, developing diverse revenue streams, and fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
Expand membership through creative recruitment initiatives and design engaging programs that create meaningful connections within the community.
Deploy fundraising and operational excellence capabilities to build financial sustainability through diversified funding sources.
Develop initiatives that leverage members' expertise to catalyze Lebanon's life sciences ecosystem and foster transformative partnerships across international boundaries.
Build productive relationships with board members and serve as the organization's public representative, cultivating partnerships, members, and donors.
Design and implement efficient systems and processes that ensure effective execution of events, communications, and strategic initiatives.
Bridge cultural contexts between the U.S. and Lebanon, creating programming that resonates with diverse audiences while maintaining cultural authenticity.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success building structure, systems, or programs within growing or entrepreneurial organizations.
Strong organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple priorities while maintaining clarity, discipline, and momentum.
Experience growing communities, networks, or membership-driven groups is highly valued.
Exceptional communication abilities with a talent for creating compelling narratives and persuasively articulating value propositions.
High emotional intelligence, low ego, and a team-oriented leadership style.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven professional who takes initiative, solves problems creatively, and thrives in entrepreneurial environments.
Comfort operating in dynamic, early-stage environments with evolving needs and opportunities.
Strong connection to or understanding of Lebanese culture and experience with international or cross-cultural initiatives strongly preferred.
Familiarity with the life sciences sector strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business administration, nonprofit management, life sciences, or related field preferred.
Compensation The role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience.
