Associate Legal Counsel
to join its U.S. Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the firm’s
Prime Services business , with a strong focus on
Synthetic Prime Services . The organization is widely recognized for its scale and global presence:
Offering a full suite of financial services, including personal & commercial banking, wealth & private banking, corporate & investment banking, and capital markets.
The Associate Director will play a critical role in supporting the firm’s
Synthetic Prime Services business , which centers on derivatives, swaps, and synthetic exposures rather than traditional securities lending. The work is highly specialized and sits at the intersection of
regulation, documentation, risk management, and transaction structuring .
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support for Prime Services with an emphasis on Synthetic Prime Services and equity derivatives.
Draft, review, and negotiate core documentation, including
ISDA Master Agreements, Prime Brokerage Agreements (PBAs), and Master Confirmation Agreements (MCAs) .
Advise on regulatory, contractual, and risk management issues tied to synthetic exposures.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, risk, and compliance teams to ensure legal risk is effectively mitigated.
Ideal Candidate Profile
3–6 years
of post-law school experience in equity derivatives from a
top‑tier law firm or investment bank .
Strong command of
ISDA architecture, collateral terms, netting provisions, early termination clauses, default remedies, and governing law .
J.D. degree
and licensed attorney in good standing
Bright, enthusiastic, and intellectually curious, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Competitive base salary range
25% annual target bonus
