Regeneron's GEO IT is seeking a Senior Manager ServiceNow Development with advanced expertise in the ServiceNow Security domain, particularly in Vulnerability Response, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and Security Operations (SecOps). You will be an integral part of the Regeneron GEO IT (Global Enterprise Operations). You will help provide leadership for the entire platform and collaborate closely with IT colleagues with a focus on the Information Security Office. This will include defining business requirements and leveraging the ServiceNow platform to configure solutions that align with the platform's strategic direction. You will provide expert consultation to all partners with a focus on the Information Security team, provide roadmap consultation, and ensure the ServiceNow platform aligns with business strategies and governance decisions.
Typical Responsibilities
Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services with a focus on Vulnerability Response, IRM, and SecOps.
Make strategic recommendations and actively participate in implementing new ServiceNow requirements related to the platform with a focus on security and compliance.
Take ownership of complex platform and security‑related business requirements and work towards their successful implementation.
Provide architectural controls and conduct impact analysis for new platform related requirements.
Continuously identify opportunities for improving processes and solutions, including the consolidation of similar security needs.
Contribute to ServiceNow software releases by configuring features and functionality.
Provide strategic leadership for the entire platform to ensure Regeneron is fully using the platform's potential with a solid focus on Security modules for roadmap planning.
Create and maintain a detailed view of the ServiceNow architecture.
Align the ServiceNow platform's capabilities with established business strategies.
Assist with estimating release‑level effort, ensuring all platform aspects are considered.
Optimize the stability and usability of ServiceNow through regular application maintenance.
Qualifications
Continuously identify opportunities for improving processes and solutions, including consolidation of similar security needs.
Extensive experience in enterprise security and architecture, including knowledge of various authentication systems; strong background in IT service management with an emphasis on security.
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration and proven experience developing ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with the team to implement technical best practices, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with team members to design and implement optimal solutions for technical challenges.
Ability to lead training initiatives, demonstrating capacity to educate teams.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Experience: • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience developing technology solutions (Utah or later versions). • Minimum of 3 years working as a ServiceNow application developer/system administrator focusing on security. • Experience with database design schemas and data modeling. • Experience with middleware and discovery technologies for enhancement. • Demonstrated expertise with ServiceNow’s incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, and knowledge management applications. • Proficiency in JavaScript and Web Services development languages, particularly in the context of security. • Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration, including shell scripting. • ServiceNow Certified Developer with experience in writing scoped applications for enhanced security (preferred). • Expert knowledge of AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS for designing secure user interfaces (preferred). • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing ITSM/ITIL software solutions with a strong focus on security (preferred). • Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls (preferred). • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST (preferred).
Salary Range (annually) $148,300.00 – $241,900.00
