Job Function: Quality Control/Assurance.

Job Overview The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector performs Incoming, Final and other types of quality inspection to ensure adherence of finished product to compliance requirements and procedures. Reports to Manufacturing Quality Supervisor.

Primary Job Responsibilities Inspection

Perform quality inspections on product and materials as defined by work instruction, customer requirements, drawing, datasheet and engineering instruction.

Ensure process and product compliance with ISO 900X, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 standards.

Validate workmanship adherence to IPC‑610 and IPC‑600 as well as other defined criteria.

Perform final inspection on finished product to ensure full compliance to required standards prior to shipment to end customer.

Understand and apply sampling plans.

Validate quality of incoming materials using defined criteria.

Execution of Written/Verbal Instructions

Read and follow work instructions and visual aids.

Check and inspect task results against predetermined standards.

Identify, communicate, and escalation production issues and problems.

Monitoring and Operation of Critical Equipment

Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material (BOMs), MPI, ECN, deviation and other manufacturing documentation related to inspection in approving or rejecting final assemblies.

Record inspection results as required.

Support shop floor control systems.

Compose NCR for non‑conforming material.

Perform transactions in ERP software.

Team Support

Demonstrate work methods to new hires.

Share best practices and assist in minor troubleshooting.

Actively participate in cross‑training.

Required Education And Experience

Minimum High School Diploma.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in First Article, In‑Process, FQA, or Receiving Inspection in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.

Key Tools and Technology

Document control software: Agile.

Enterprise resource software: Oracle.

Inspection tools: DMM (Digital Multi‑Meter), Caliper, OMM (Optical Measurement Machine), Microscope, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), AXI (Automated X‑ray Inspection), Dage X‑ray, Black Light, Magnification lens.

Spreadsheet software: Microsoft Excel.

Document and presentation software: Microsoft Word.

ADP Workforce Now (Employee Self‑Service Portal).

Work Context and Conditions

Indoors, environmentally controlled and secured.

Highly structured work environment.

Daily use of telephone, email and face‑to‑face communication with Quality/Production team.

Importance of being accurate regarding cycle count, shipping information and data entry.

Moderate time pressure required to perform inspections and enter data daily.

Team work.

Completer‑finisher role.

Standing an eight‑hour work shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks.
