School Bus Driver (Part‑time) – Easton‑Redding School District
Join First Student as a part‑time School Bus Driver and help deliver safe transportation for the Easton‑Redding School District. About the Role
You will start the day with a before‑school pickup, and finish with an after‑school drop‑off. The shift is a split schedule – a short morning segment, a free period, and an afternoon segment. You will receive no experience required. First Student provides paid CDL training and industry‑leading technology to support success. Responsibilities
Pick up students before school and drop them off after school, following district routes. Operate the school bus safely, ensuring all students are seated and secured. Observe and enforce district and state safety policies. Assist with student boarding assistance and any special needs related to transport. Maintain the cleanliness and functional condition of the vehicle. Qualifications
At least 21 years old. Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years. Strong communication skills and ability to work safely with children. Legal eligibility to work in the United States. Benefits
$22.66 per hour starting wage, plus overtime as applicable. Health, dental, and vision benefits, and 401(k) retirement plan. Paid CDL training. Child‑Ride‑Along program for working parents. Four paid holidays. Additional Information
The role includes DOT drug testing. Eligibility and testing requirements are per state, federal, and employer policy.
