Production Support Electrical Engineer
Immediately hiring for a full‑time contract position located in Tucson, AZ, for a 12‑month term.
Position Overview As a Production Support Electrical Engineer, you will troubleshoot and resolve production factory and supplier issues, maintain technical data packages, and drive change processes to completion. You will also participate in peer reviews, analyze defect/yield data, and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
Problem resolution of production factory and/or supplier issues, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technical data package including creation of change documentation using cPDM.
Present change packages in Review Board/Change Board and coordinate team members and resources to drive issues to completion.
Participate in peer reviews of other engineers from Engineering and Operations groups.
Troubleshoot failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, programmable power supplies, spectrum/network analyzers, and related tools.
Analyze defect/yield data and implement process improvements to reduce recurring failures.
Perform other general electrical engineering tasks relating to production support as needed.
Qualifications
Active Secret clearance prior to the start.
Experience with digital, analog, RF, or mixed‑signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro‑mechanical systems.
Experience in root‑cause corrective action investigations.
Proven experience in manufacturing/test support of electronic assemblies.
Proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
Pay Range & Benefits
Pay range: $58–$67 per hour (based on education, experience, location, and job duties).
