Overview
Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented, organized Proposal Coordinator/Writer to support business initiatives by preparing and managing RFP/RFQ responses, qualification packages, and marketing materials. This role works closely with Senior Management and contributes directly to the firm’s growth. This is a part‑time role (20+ hours/week) in Kennewick, WA.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFQs, and award applications.
Research, edit, and verify proposal content for accuracy and compliance.
Handle lead tracking, proposal progress and managing deadlines.
Produce digital and print materials for proposals and marketing using MS Office and Adobe InDesign.
Be engaged in event coordination and social media presence.
Liaise with vendors and maintain up‑to‑date marketing and proposal materials.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
5 years or more experience in proposal coordination, marketing, or communications for an A/E or construction firm.
Experience with RFQs/SOQs.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Professional demeanor with strong communication, editing, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
Strong technical writing, proofreading and graphic design skills in A/E/C.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business.
