We are seeking a

software-focused Linux Engineer

to develop and maintain customized SUSE Linux OS images, automate system configuration, and support diagnostics for complex hardware/software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain

custom SUSE Linux OS images

for the client’s systems.

Automate configuration using

SaltStack, Ansible , or similar tools.

Develop diagnostic and automation scripts (Bash/Python).

Apply

test-driven development

practices for reliability and maintainability.

Document processes, configurations, and tools clearly.

Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration teams.

Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Required Skills

Bachelors'/Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

7+ years of experiencewith

Linux OS customization

and image creation.

Proficiency in

Bash/Python scripting .

Experience with

Salt, Ansible , or other configuration management tools.

Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred

Experience with diagnostics or hardware troubleshooting.

Strong analytical and communication skills.
