Be part of the Sensor, Software and Prototyping team, focused on testing application software used to collect data and develop Apple’s next generation features and algorithms. This includes technologies such as VisionPro, Multitouch, TouchID, and FaceID. Testing is focused on VisionOS, MacOS, iOS, and WatchOS applications that drive unique UI experiences, interface with firmware and low level software drivers, and provide data to processing pipelines. You will be a motivated individual who independently follows up on bugs, collaborates with developers to resolve issues and can understand and discuss technical problems with other QE engineers, development partners and program managers.

Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related with minimum 3+ years in software or application testing with strong Python and XCUI test automation experience
Software development/test automation experience, with high proficiency in Python
Experience with Swift programming and developing iOS test automation with Xcode UI automation framework
Author detailed test plans that cover all functionality and edge cases of a system
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, guaranteeing complete test coverage and a flawless end user experience
Preferred Qualifications
Partner with development team to quickly learn a new application, break it into functional parts, and identify potential weaknesses
Develop robust and repeatable automated testing solutions
Understand the context where an application will be deployed, providing insights to potential failures
Execute manual and automated test plans on a variety of hardware and software configurations
Craft quality from an early stage by being involved through the entire project lifecycle
Documentation of test cases and code used for test execution
Tracking performance, reporting results to management, driving issues to closure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Building creative new tools, fixtures, and methodologies to stress software features
UI/UX design or test experience
Track record of shipping great consumer products
Continuous integration and scheduling systems
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
