Position Overview Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
Job Description Due to limited responsibilities listed, the role focuses on assisting in the operating room environment, ensuring patients receive quality care through proper preparation, equipment management, and procedural support.
Education
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience
Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program
Certification & Licensure
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required
Skills and Knowledge
Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.
Shift and Schedule Job Shift: Nights Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Variable Weekend Requirements: Saturday, Sunday

Pay Range is $53.30 to $63.69 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
