Company Description JD Telecom is a fiber optic subcontracting service business located in San Jose CA. We perform most of the splicing duties for major Internet service providers in the Bay Area. We are currently seeking ambitious individuals with experience in fiber splicing.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Fiber Splicer at JD Telecom. The Fiber Splicer will be responsible for daily tasks related to telecommunications.
Located in San Jose CA, but will be traveling around the Bay Area, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.
Experience with fiber splicing required, experience with hybrid fiber-coax systems highly recommended.
We pay production piece rate salary, you will be compensated a percentage of the work you perform.
Qualifications Must be able to commute to and from San Jose CA. Experience with optical tools such as a fusion machine, OTDR, and testing equipment Experience operating a bucket truck Knowledge of Optical Networks Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Previous experience in splicing roles High school diploma or equivalent
