Assists the Restaurant Manager in ensuring guest expectations are met by promoting quality service skills with all Steakhouse Staff (hostess, expo runner, steakhouse server, saloon cocktailer, busser, barista etc.) Assists with front-of-the-house training - ensuring set standards are met.
WAGE RANGE: $16.00-$20.00

Essential Job Functions
Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, quality food service from Hamley personnel in a clean, pleasant atmosphere. Promptly offers beverage service and other amenities necessary for guests. Assists Supervisor in scheduling, training, and performance monitoring of all front-of-the-house staff members. Takes guests food orders and promptly relays them through POS. Up-sells menu items, desserts, and specials. When food items are ready, promptly deliver the order and any condiments needed. Remains attentive to guests during their meal for beverage refills and to ensure satisfaction. Maintains assigned area in an organized, efficient, and clean manner at all times. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses hazards and reports all concerns to Supervisor. Throughout the shift, maintain side workstations and replenish accordingly, and at the end of the shift, ensure all side work assigned is complete. Demonstrates and promotes proper food handling safety and sanitation standards at all times. Identifies areas that need improvement and communicates those with the Supervisor. Keeps open communication with staff and peers to ensure a smooth operation. Helps monitor staff to ensure compliance with set standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Familiar with all property amenities to ensure a high level of customer service. Verifies check-in and cash reconciliation and prepares shift-end checks-out cash reconciliation. Presents check (ticket) to the guest, collects payment, and returns change when applicable. Will often be assigned a section or assigned to assist another server in the designated section. Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc. Assumes responsibility for operations in the Supervisor's absence, including monthly inventory reporting. Functions as a working lead, and assists with subordinates role as needed: hostess, expo runner, steakhouse server, saloon cocktailer, busser, barista, or other areas deemed necessary. Promotes a positive work environment and assists in building a strong overall team. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of F&B experience in table side service in a restaurant operation. Six (6) months of supervisory experience in a table side service in a restaurant operation. Ability to balance cash drawer. Possesses working knowledge of wines, beer, and liquor. Computer literate with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) Strong leadership skills and effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, responds to questions and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities. Needs to stand and walk for long periods and able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Carries and balances food and beverage trays weighing up to 40 lbs. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests. High School Diploma or GED or ten (10) years of experience. Must possess or obtain a Food Handlers Certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
Front-of-the-house training experience. ServSafe Certification. Preferably fine dining experience. Seniority level
