Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Lompoc, CA) We're seeking a Maintenance Technician who values craftsmanship, dependability, and community. Living on-site offers convenience and allows you to build meaningful relationships within the community while taking pride in the properties you help maintain. Position Overview: This role supports two unique properties and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong time management. We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with at least 2 years of experience in unit turnovers, general repairs, and a willingness to work across both properties. Ideal candidates will have (or be open to learning) skills in: · Basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems · Drywall repair, painting, and general carpentry · Appliance troubleshooting and replacement · Emergency response and preventative maintenance What You’ll Be Doing: Preparing apartments for new residents — painting, lock changes, minor repairs, and cleaning Performing (or learning) basic electrical and plumbing repairs, including outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and disposals Addressing minor leaks and plumbing issues Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas Supporting vendor coordination and team communication Rotating to nearby properties as needed Requirements: What You Bring: 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently Strong communication skills and customer service mindset Time management and the ability to prioritize Familiarity with AppFolio software is a plus Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Weekend and after-hours emergency response and managing after hours calls on rotation Flexibility to support nearby properties when needed Benefits: Competitive hourly pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Bonus Pay Potential on-site housing opportunity after 90 days
